About Robatel Licensing

Robatel has many years of experience licensing Type B casks around the world according to IAEA or U.S. NRC regulatory requirements. Our projects in the U.S. include licensing of the RT-100 for the shipment of resins and filters, a license modification for the RT-100 to include irradiated hardware, and most recently the submittal of a license application for the RT-200 to ship solid irradiated and contaminated materials in dedicated storage containers, as well as miscellaneous solid irradiated and contaminated hardware. Robatel maintains regular communication and holds meetings with the U.S. NRC to help support these transportation casks with continuous improvements to the safety analysis report and the certificate of compliance.
