HOT CELLS

CASKS

Robatel Technologies also designs and manufactures Type B(U) certified transport casks used by national labs and research centers worldwide. These casks meet IAEA and NRC requirements for the safe shipment of radioactive materials.

Applications include:

  • Transport of irradiated fuel segments, targets, and sealed sources

  • Return of Mo-99 filters or isotope production waste

  • Cross-laboratory transfer of alpha or gamma-emitting materials

  • Storage and shipment of HLW/ILW drums from research operations
